How solarisation works

From your bill to a running plant in six steps.

  1. Share your power bills

Send 6–12 months of electricity bills so we can size the plant.

  2. Site survey

Our engineers check your roof, structure, shading and connection.

  3. Proposal

You receive a design, generation estimate and offers for PPA, BOOT and EPC.

  4. Agreement and approvals

We sign the chosen model and file net-metering and other approvals.

  5. Installation

Mounting, modules, inverters and safety systems installed by our team.

  6. Commissioning and monitoring

The plant is connected, tested and monitored for performance.

Questions about solarisation

Is my roof suitable?

Most industrial roofs with good structural strength and little shade are suitable. The site survey confirms it.

What if my roof is too small?

We can combine rooftop with ground-mounted or captive capacity elsewhere, subject to regulations.

Who maintains the plant?

Under PPA and BOOT, Unite maintains it. Captive plants include AMC, cleaning and insurance in the price.

Can I add batteries?

Yes. Battery storage can be added to cover evening shifts and replace diesel generators.

How accurate is the calculator?

It uses standard assumptions and gives an indicative estimate. Your proposal after the site survey is the final figure.
