UNITIF

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about UNITIF parks, power and membership.

What is UNITIF?

UNITIF is a joint platform of the Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF) and Unite Group to build integrated industrial and energy parks, with solar power, shared services and global market access for MSMEs.

Where is the first UNITIF park?

At the TIF MSME Green Industrial Park, Dandu Malkapur, Choutuppal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana, on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada highway.

How can my industry go solar through UNITIF?

Three ways: a solar PPA where Unite invests and you buy power at a discount, a BOOT plant at ₹1,000 per kW per month that transfers to you after 5 years, or your own captive plant at ₹35,000 per kW including AMC, cleaning and insurance. Use the calculator on the Solarisation page to compare them.

Who qualifies for free power?

Industries approved under the park’s applied-industry programme receive park-generated solar power free of charge, as per the park’s terms. Contact us to check eligibility.

Do I need to be a TIF member?

Many services are designed for TIF members, but investors, NRIs, franchise partners and other industries are welcome to apply. We will guide you on membership where needed.

Can UNITIF help with approvals and subsidies?

Yes. Our single window desk files and tracks approvals, and our facilitation team helps you apply for central and state capital subsidies and schemes.

I live abroad. Can I set up a unit?

Yes. The NRI help center provides guidance on investment routes, a turnkey project team and regular progress updates while you are abroad.

How do I become a franchise partner or distributor?

Choose the Franchise, Innovation Store or Distributor option on the Join UNITIF page and send your details. Our team will contact you within two working days.

Are the savings figures on this website guaranteed?

No. Calculator results are indicative estimates. Your final offer follows a site survey of your roof, connection and consumption.
